Samaro Lite
What is Samaro Lite?+
Lite is Samaro’s photo-sharing core on its own. Drop the whole shoot into one event, guests take a selfie, and face recognition hands each person the full-resolution photos they appear in, in any mobile browser with nothing to install. Unlimited events, delivered over web, WhatsApp, iOS and Android.
How is Lite priced, and how is that different from Samaro?+
Lite runs on its own app at lite.samaro.ai and is priced there, separately from the main platform. The full Samaro plan for studios is a monthly or yearly subscription priced by reusable storage, and the personal plans are one-time purchases covering a single event. Lite is the cheapest way in because it is the delivery half of the platform on its own.
What’s not included in Lite?+
The production side. Camera2Cloud, AI culling, AI editing and Album Studio belong to the full platform, not to Lite. Lite covers everything from “the photos exist” to “everyone has theirs”; if your workflow starts at the camera body, you want the full plan.
What add-ons can I buy on Lite, and what do they cost?+
Lite is deliberately one self-contained product rather than a base plan with a catalogue bolted on, so there are no Lite add-ons today. The add-ons Samaro does sell, direct Camera2Cloud and priority support with onboarding, sit on enterprise agreements and are quoted with the rest of the contract.
If I delete photos, do I get my quota back?+
On the studio subscription, yes. Storage there is a reusable pool spread across unlimited events rather than a one-way allowance, so space you clear comes back for the next shoot. Personal plans work the other way round: the storage belongs to that one event for its year of validity.
Can I try Lite for free first?+
Yes, and we would rather you did. You can start without a credit card and run a real event before paying anything.
Can I switch from Lite to the full Samaro plan later?+
Yes. It is the same delivery engine underneath, so moving up adds Camera2Cloud, AI culling and editing and Album Studio to a workflow you already know rather than asking you to learn a new one. Get in touch and we will move you across.
Do Lite plans get refunds if I cancel?+
No. Samaro does not refund purchases once they are made, which is exactly why there is a free trial on business accounts and why small events are free. Run a real event on the free tier first and buy only once you know it fits. The full wording is on our Refund and Cancellation page.
Is customer support different on Lite?+
Everyone gets support. Priority support is a paid-plan feature on the studio subscription, and dedicated WhatsApp support comes with the larger personal and custom plans.

What’s included in the full Samaro plan that isn’t in Lite?+
The whole production chain: Camera2Cloud straight off the camera, AI culling, AI editing, Album Studio and the Lightroom plugin, plus white-labeled galleries on your own domain and white-labeled iOS and Android apps. Every one of those is on every paid studio tier.
How does storage-based pricing work?+
You buy a storage pool, not a number of events. Paid studio plans run from 50 GB at ₹720 a month up to 8,000 GB at ₹8,550 a month, all with unlimited events and unlimited guests, and yearly billing is about 15% cheaper. Storage is the only thing that changes between the paid tiers, every delivery and workflow feature is on all of them.
Is storage really reusable?+
Yes. It is a pool you reuse across unlimited events rather than an allowance you spend down once, which is why the plans are sized in storage rather than in events. The same 100 GB carries one wedding after another as you clear delivered work.
Can I try it before paying?+
Yes. The free trial activates on sign-up with 10 GB of reusable storage and two events, no credit card. Camera2Cloud, AI culling, AI editing and Album Studio are all in the trial; white-labeling and priority support are what the paid plans add.
How does AI Editing work, and what does it cost?+
Samaro learns your white balance, contrast and skin tones from work you have already delivered, then applies them to every new RAW automatically. It is included on every paid studio plan and in the free trial, with no separate per-photo charge on top.
What’s Culling, and who is it for?+
Culling is the first pass after a shoot: deciding which frames are keepers. Samaro’s vision model scores every frame for focus, expression, eye contact and composition and makes that pass for you. It is for anyone shooting in volume, weddings, conferences, sport, where the selecting rather than the shooting is what eats the week.
Can I use my own domain for client galleries?+
Yes. A white-labeled gallery domain is included on every paid studio plan, so clients arrive at your studio rather than at ours. It is one of the few things the free trial does not include.
What happens if my plan expires?+
Renew before the term ends to keep galleries open and deliveries running. If a plan is about to lapse while you are mid-delivery, tell us rather than let a client gallery go dark, we would far rather move you onto the right plan.
Is there a refund if I’m not happy with my plan?+
No. Once purchased, Samaro does not entertain refunds, which is why there is a free trial on every business account and why small events run free. Take the trial, run a real event on it, and buy when you are sure. The full policy is on our Refund and Cancellation page.
Personal / individual users
I’m not a photographer, just hosting one event. What do I need?+
A personal plan. These are one-time purchases sized to a single event rather than subscriptions: pick the one that matches your guest count and how much you expect to be shot, and it covers that event for a year. Your first event is free, so you can watch the whole thing work before paying.
What do the personal plans cost?+
They start free, at 5 GB and 50 guests, activated on sign-up. Paid plans run from ₹1,798 for 25 GB and 150 guests up to ₹8,998 for 200 GB and 1,500 guests, plus taxes, each covering one event with a year of validity. Above 1,500 guests we price it for you.
Does “one-time payment” mean I keep the gallery forever?+
It means one payment for that event, with a year of validity, rather than a subscription that keeps renewing. Guests can come back for their photos months later, not just the week after, but it is a year rather than forever.
What happens if my event’s storage or guest limit runs out?+
Upgrade that event to the next plan up. Plans are per event and upgrades are available at any point, so you can start small and move up if the day turns out bigger than planned. The per-file limits are generous on every paid plan: 50 MB a photo, 5 GB a video, and unlimited images per sub-event.
Can my guests find their own photos without me tagging them?+
Yes, that is the entire point. A guest opens the gallery link, uploads one selfie, and face search returns every photo they appear in. Nobody tags anything, and each guest sees their own photos rather than the whole event.
What if my event is bigger than the largest listed plan, or needs something custom?+
That is Samaro Custom, for 1,500 guests and up: customised pricing, custom billing and invoicing, dedicated WhatsApp support and a premium animated event landing page or invite. Festivals and convocations usually land here. Contact us and we will price it.
Is there a grace period if I forget to renew?+
Personal plans are one-time purchases with a year of validity rather than renewing subscriptions, so there is no renewal date to miss mid-event. If you are near the end of that year and want the gallery to stay open, contact us before it lapses.
Can I get anything back if I cancel or the event doesn’t happen?+
No, purchases are not refunded once made. That is precisely why your first event is free: run it, see the gallery and the face search working, and buy only once the date is certain. The full policy is on our Refund and Cancellation page.
Photographers & studios
Should I start with Lite or the full Samaro plan?+
If the job ends at delivering photos to a client and their guests, start on Lite. If it starts at the camera, with tethered upload, culling, editing and albums, the full studio plan is the one, and its free trial includes every one of those tools so you can compare properly before paying.
How do I get shoot photos into Samaro without manual uploads?+
Camera2Cloud. Frames upload live from Canon, Sony or Nikon the moment you shoot and land in the gallery in about two seconds, so there is no card-reader session at midnight. It is included on every studio plan, the free trial included.
How does AI Culling actually save time on a big shoot?+
It does the first pass for you. The model scores every frame for focus, expression, eye contact and composition, so you open a shortlist and review it instead of building one by hand. On a multi-day wedding that takes selection off the critical path entirely.
Can I build client albums inside Samaro, or do I need separate software?+
Album Studio is built in. It lays out an album from your selects, spread by spread, and exports lab-ready files, so there is no second tool and no round trip through one. It is on every studio plan, trial included.
Can clients see a professional, branded version of my galleries, not something that looks like Samaro’s own site?+
Yes. Every paid studio plan includes a white-labeled gallery domain and white-labeled iOS and Android apps in your studio’s name, colours and logo. Clients download your studio, not Samaro.
Do I need a team plan if I have assistants or second shooters?+
Studio plans are sized by storage rather than by seats, and every paid tier carries the same feature set. If you need formal admin controls and collaboration across a larger team, that is where an enterprise agreement comes in, so tell us how your team works and we will point you at the right one.
How does WhatsApp delivery to guests work, and does it cost extra?+
Guests get their photos where they already are. The bot sends each person their own matches as those land, and guests can add themselves and follow event updates the same way. It is included in your plan, with no per-message charge on top.
Is there a referral program if I bring other photographers onto Samaro?+
Nothing published today. There are open promo codes, GET10 on personal plans and TEN10OFF on photographer plans, and if you are sending real volume our way, talk to us directly and we will work something out.
What if I need more storage or AI edit credits than my plan includes?+
Move up a tier. Storage is the only thing separating the paid studio plans, so a larger plan is simply more room and nothing new to learn. AI culling and editing are not metered in credits, they are included on every paid plan. Beyond 8,000 GB, that becomes an enterprise conversation.

Do you have fixed enterprise pricing?+
No, enterprise is quoted rather than listed. Pricing is built around your event volume, guest numbers and the controls you need, with custom billing and invoicing, MSAs and LSAs. Book a demo or contact us and we will put a number to it.
We run high guest-count events regularly. Can Samaro handle that?+
Yes. Enterprise plans carry unlimited storage and unlimited events with traffic scaling built for exactly this, and the platform has delivered more than 200 million photos across over 2 million events. Direct Camera2Cloud is available as an add-on where the shooting volume warrants it.
Can we run everything under our own domain, with no Samaro branding visible?+
Yes. White-labeled branding and white-labeled apps are part of every enterprise plan, along with custom watermarks and sponsor frames, so guests see your organisation and your sponsors rather than ours.
Can we send guest communication from our own WhatsApp number instead of Samaro’s?+
Bring it to the demo. The smart WhatsApp bot is included on every enterprise plan, and messaging setup is one of the things an enterprise agreement is written around, so we will confirm exactly what is possible for your numbers and your region.
Do you support analytics on our branded galleries?+
Yes, real-time analytics on your galleries, plus Pixel integration so you can retarget the audience that actually turned up. Both sit inside your own branding.
Can we manage multiple team members and control who owns the account?+
Yes. Enterprise plans include an admin dashboard with controls and collaboration tools for multiple team members. Account ownership and the specific roles are configured with you during onboarding.
Is pricing locked in for the length of our contract, or can it change?+
Enterprise terms, the pricing term included, are written into the agreement itself, which is what the MSAs and LSAs are for. Whatever is agreed there is what holds for the term.
What’s the cancellation or refund policy on an enterprise contract?+
Samaro does not refund purchases once made, and the commercial terms of an enterprise agreement are set in the contract itself. Take the demo and a pilot event first, that is what they are there for. The general policy is on our Refund and Cancellation page.
